Listen Closely, There are three groups per species, (the Omega Squadron, Alpha Squadron, and the Elite Guard).  There are 3 others for the zerg and the protoss.  You must go through the 2 worst to get to the best of each species (Elite Guard, Kerrigan's Demolition Team, and the Templar Elite).  You will have a chance to battle for a new rank every 2 wks. Check out the ranks for the species below.  The main government is shown below.

The clan is governed by a leader who has a congress made up of  all the generals/cerebrates/praetors.  They do field exercises and tell the leader who should be promoted and assigned to special posts.  The leader should take the recommendations of the congress.  Also the leader may only suggest war, the congress must vote on it.  War is declared only with a 2/3 vote.  The generals/cerebrates/praetors should listen to its groups on how they feel about what is to be voted upon in the next congressional meeting (by the way the congressional meeting is held every 2 weeks unless otherwise notified). President:  This person is responsible for making the clan run smoothly.  He has the power to make decisions, but congress can stop him with a 2/3 vote.

Congress:  This group of all the generals/cerebrates/praetors is called the congress, they cannot run the clan but can overturn any decision made by the pres. With a 2/3 vote.  They can also make decisions.
